No two days will be the same at HOPE Bristol 2018, but here is a taste of some of the things we'll get up to throughout the five days.

Morning Meetings

We love spending time worshipping God, looking at what the Bible has to say to us today, and waiting on the Holy Spirit, so that’s what we are going to do every morning! Mike Pilavachi and the Soul Survivor team will lead our meetings and inspire us before we go out to the city. We'll also have a few big celebrations on various evenings throughout the week.

The morning meetings are only available to young volunteers, however we will have events for all Bristol volunteers as well.

Community Projects

Hundreds of us will head out every afternoon to work hard on a range of practical projects over the week. These might include:

  • Renovation of school buildings and community centres

  • Work in overgrown gardens and public spaces

  • Rubbish and litter clearance

These projects have been suggested by people who live and work within the local community with the aim to have an immediate and long term impact.

Family Fun Afternoons

We want to throw a loads of parties for the local communities of Bristol. Face painting, bouncy castles, live music, inflatable games - it'll all be there.

Whether you're a musical maestro or a Mary Berry baker, we'll need your help to make these events a success.

Senior Citizens Events

Hundreds of teenagers serving thousands of senior citizens cream teas; what could be more British than that?

If you'd like to organise an afternoon of food, friendships and entertainment those senior citizens in local communities please get in touch.

Youth Events

HOPE Bristol 2018 is a great chance to reach the young people in your community. You might like to run a youth cafe, an open youth group, a sports event, host a local talent show, or run a detached youth project in a local park - the possibilities are endless!

If you'd like to organise an event aimed at young people in your area, please get in touch with us.

Kids Events

You might like to run a Children's Holiday club for local kids, organise "Make Lunch" for children who may go hungry during the school holidays or run sporting activities in a neighbourhood park.

We'll have resources ready to use and training available to help you put on the best event possible.

We want HOPE Bristol 2018 to be an event where hundreds of people can hear about Jesus. You might like a team to run some activities where they can share their faith, prayer on the streets, "Turning" style street work, free give aways etc.
